The Shepherd’s team have been making healthy, natural sheep’s milk ice cream and real fruit sorbets on their farm in Herefordshire for over 35 years!
More recently, they have used that knowledge to develop a delicious range of dairy free ice creams to add to our menu.
Sheep’s milk is around 50% richer in solids than cow or goat milk. This means that they can make ice-cream out of whole milk! The result is smooth, creamy and much lower in fat than other ice-creams.
Their sorbets are made from our own spring water, and our dairy free ice creams have a range of different bases to suit the flavour.
Since their inception, decades ago, their values haven’t changed a jot: to source locally as much as they possibly can, to make home-made as much as possible, and to serve honest, healthy and delicious food at fair prices.
Because they make all their flavours from scratch they always offer something interesting and unusual alongside old favourites!
